Chakra Theertham - Thirupathi

Been somewhat hectic last couple of months..! Finally I could manage a post..! Continuing on my Tirupathi trip..Hope you like it..!

Chakra Teertham is one among the seventeen sacred lakes or Tirthas near Tirupati Balaji Temple. It is believed that water from these seventeen lakes merge in the Swami Pushkarini Lake. Legend has it that a devotee of Venkateswara named Padmanabha worshipped the Lord here for 12 years.

  6. Delighted to once again be enjoying your travels. Such dramatic photographs, such a stunning landscape, the climb down looks so hazardous and yet well worth it.
