I am glad I did not carry my DSLR that day in this crowd....least I would have found it difficult to hold it securely..!

All roads lead to Hillview stadium on 23rd November..Where the climax of the birthday celebrations was going to take place..! Thousands formed bee-line right from 2am in the morning to get a vantage location inside the Stadium.

People were waiting patiently inside the stadium till Sri Sathya Sai Baba made his appearance on the Golden Charriot at 11:30am.

Foriegn Devotees enjoy the music


Hariharan,Unni Krishnan, Shankar Mahadevan were some of the prominant singers who lead the music troop on the occasion. Any one of these singers, alone,  is enough to create waves..if they join hands rather voices...one can imagine the power of their tune..Not even westerners were exceptions to it..See them enjoying the music..!
The person who claps in this video is a Writer,Play wright,Stage director,publicist from the Republic of Azerbaijan. He was sitting next to me in the stadium. He got me to shoot a video clip of his making some speech. That is covered as the second portion of this video... I can't understand what he speaks..Anyone who knows Russian can translate it for me..!
He said that he is covering this celebration on behalf of a magazine and he collected tons of photos and videos from me for his work. He said he would send me his work..!
